Empowering through Education

Our Model

Omuto Uganda is a non-profit organization poised to proffer a helping hand to the vulnerable and orphaned Ugandan child by creating seamless access to quality, Christ-centered education through one of its invaluable projects, The Emmaus School.

Our prime objective is to see that the less advantaged and impoverished children can have a chance to study, although this can only be achieved if someone from the outside is inspirited to help with whatever they can.

The Emmaus School is constantly growing (currently we have 632 students and 22 staff) and increasing enrollment as it has developed a very strong reputation in the local district. Parents are desperate to see their children fed, educated and cared for. You can choose to give a one time financial gift in support of the Emmaus School or through recurring monthly gifts of $25, $50, or $100 or any amount you choose. Recurring gifts help to pay a teacher’s salary, provide scholastic materials as well as twice daily meals for each child. There is a space to indicate the class you are supporting or the nature of your donation on the online donation page.
